Hello! My name is Danielle Jones, but my community knows me as Dani. I grew up in Republic Washington. I moved to St. Augustine Florida when I was 12 years old. The saying “home is where the heart is” really applies to me. I moved back to Republic when I was 21 years old.

Before CIS I worked for New Alliance Counseling Services as a licensed Peer Support Counselor. I bridged gaps for both youth and adults here in Ferry County. I listened to my clients struggles and found unique ways to bring their voice to the table by using my own lived experience as my guide. I love to discover barriers and work to problem solve them.

CIS and their mission/model gets me excited! Our youth need more access to resources. They need to feel empowered and confident enough to take charge of their future. CIS will allow me to continue some of the work I am already doing in Ferry County, but on a larger scale in the school setting. I look forward to learning more and being apart of implementing something new in our schools. I can not wait to see what the future will hold for our youth and our community as a whole. I am grateful.

Outside of work, I am extremely active in our local recovery community. I attend a lot of recovery meetings and hold space for people still struggling with addictions and grief/loss. I am a mom that bakes cheesecakes, rides dirt bikes and goes fishing. I love a cheesecake challenge and bake all kinds of flavors as form of therapy.
